BNP Paribas and Stancer (Iliad Group) have joined forces to introduce a seamless integrated payment solution directly within the Microsoft Teams application
The offering, combining BNP Paribas AXEPTA's payment solutions and its subsidiary FLOA's leading installment payment services, targets professionals and merchants using Microsoft Teams to communicate with clients for online services like travel agencies, private tutors, coaches and more.
Within a Teams conversation between the professional/merchant and their client(s), multiple payment offers can be presented. The professional can then collect remote payments by simply sending a payment request directly in the chat.
Designed for a smooth, simplified payment experience, this MS Teams-integrated solution requires no prior action from end clients. The service leverages Stancer's payment API, with the Iliad subsidiary specializing in simple, innovative payment solutions.
To access it, professionals and merchants must install the Stancer app from the Microsoft Teams store. A dashboard allows professionals to track all transactions, payment requests issued, and perform refunds when needed. Co-developed by Stancer, BNP Paribas and Floa, the payment solution taps BNP Paribas Group's payment processing expertise, enabling merchants to open a new sales channel within their Microsoft environment.
It provides a secure customer journey, frictionless real-time user experience within the Teams conversation flow already adopted by millions. The Teams-integrated payment solution is available from late this month for Microsoft France clients with online operations, with a progressive European rollout to follow.
"Our long-standing partnership with Microsoft and Stancer was key to our collaboration's efficiency. Designed to seamlessly integrate within Microsoft's technology ecosystem, this payment solution aims to ensure ever greater fluidity and transparency for merchant professionals and end clients. To achieve this, we leveraged the Bank's proven payments expertise and innovation capabilities."
