BNP Paribas has appointed Earthport (AIM: EPO), a global payments specialist, to provide Automated Clearing House (ACH) cross-border payment services.
BNP Paribas Fortis, the Belgian subsidiary of BNP Paribas will be the first in the Group to start deploying the services.
This partnership offers BNP Paribas access to Earthport’s payments network leading to lower costs and more transparent international payments. BNP Paribas’ extensive risk and compliance network will also benefit from Earthport’s bank-grade compliance and regulation expertise, allowing services into new regions rapidly and with ease, thereby further benefitting the customer.
