To enhance procurement efficiency and working capital across its European operations, Vontier collaborated with BNP Paribas to redesign its procurement card programme. The new solution streamlined supplier payments, improved cash flow management, and introduced Card-to-Account functionality, enabling seamless card-based transactions even for suppliers that traditionally do not accept cards.

The new programme enabled Vontier to extend payment terms (improving DPO by 4 days), capture early payment discounts, and reduce manual processing errors, all while ensuring suppliers received payments in their preferred format. Virtual cards with strict spending controls further strengthened security and compliance. The automated portal also provided real-time transaction visibility, reducing reconciliation efforts and enforcing corporate spending policies.
