Journeys to Treasury 2023/24 – The Eighth Iteration of a Unique Partnership

Published on 16.10.2023

Navigating the complex and ever-changing landscape of treasury and finance can be a daunting task. That's why, in 2016, in an unprecedented collaboration between industry giants BNP Paribas, SAP, PwC, and the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), the Journeys to Treasury (JTT) initiative was conceived with a unique purpose – to provide treasurers and finance professionals with the guidance and tools they need to traverse the complex world of treasury.

The fruit of this remarkable collaboration is the annual JTT report, delving into the heart of the most pressing issues facing treasurers today and in the future. The report aims to answer essential questions that echo through the financial community:

  • What should you pay attention to?

  • Which technologies will shape your decisions?

  • Which trends will be truly transformative on your journey?

The 2023/24 edition, released at the EuroFinance conference in Barcelona, is a treasure trove of insights. It reflects the current state of treasury, explores the latest trends, and presents illuminating case studies from seven corporates from around the world: GE Healthcare, Dassault Systèmes, Merck, ABB, Mediahuis, Ingka and L’OCCITANE . From advanced technological solutions to the impact of financial regulations, the current JTT edition covers it all.

The JTT approach is refreshingly simple – it's a conversation between a bank (BNP Paribas), a systems provider (SAP), a consultancy (PwC), the largest association of treasury professionals in Europe (the EACT) and top corporates. The annual JTT report, therefore, is more than just a traditional document; it is the minutes of a dialogue between experts from various industries, offering a 360-degree view of treasury.

What makes JTT unique is its ability to offer a thought-provoking perspective on treasury. It is a comprehensive guide to the treasury world, exploring everything from how fintech players contribute to innovation to the collaborative approach between banks and corporates.

Additionally, throughout the year, the JTT partners organise the JTT Think Tank: exclusive panel discussions in various cities of the world, as well as produce the JTT Podcasts, sharing key treasury topics with the industry. The entire JTT franchise is an indispensable tool for treasurers, providing a complete view of tomorrow's treasury.
