The fourth Cash Management Campus will be held on 21st June 2016 at Wolkenburg, Cologne. The event is organised by BNP Paribas Germany in cooperation with Der Treasurer, a leading trade magazine covering Corporate Treasury in German-speaking countries. The Cash Management Campus brings together the German treasury community and is all set for a new client record this year. Around 150 Cash Managers and Corporate Treasurers from DAX companies and the German Mittelstand are expected to participate in the event.

The welcome speech will be delivered by Torsten Murke, CEO Corporate & Institutional banking and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, BNP Paribas Germany, followed by a presentation on the macro outlook by Matthias Thiel, European Economist, BNP Paribas.

The following hot topics are on this year’s agenda:

  • “Fraud and Cybercrime – the schemes of the swindlers” – A first-hand testimony by the deputy head of cybercrime unit of the German Federal Police (Bundeskriminalamt)
  • “Negative Interest Rates – now what?” – A roundtable bringing together 3 Corporate Treasurers to discuss investment options in the negative interest rate environment, including Torsten Kohrs, Head of Treasury, Deutsche Lufthansa AG; Mark Siegel, Deputy Treasurer, SCHOTT AG; Sascha Röber, Manager Finance, Schoen Klinik SE
  • “Cash Management in 2026 – how digitalization, FinTechs and Co will change the scene” – Three perspectives, one dialogue: A bank representative, a corporate client and a Fintech will share their views on the future of Cash Management in short presentations before engaging in an open dialogue with the audience
