Beside the standard information, the full beneficiary's address is mandatory.
A 8-digit Transit Code is mandatory and should be instructed in the remittence information. This routing code consists of one cheque digit, four digits for the branch and three digits for the bank.
A clear reason / purpose of payment is also mandatory and consists of a full written description (in English) of the nature of payment to be provided in the remittance information. For example: providing an invoice number without guiding text is considered as insufficient and can result in errors or delays.
