BNP Paribas, acted as Mandated Lead Arranger and Technical & Insurance Bank, has closed Sumitomo Corporation’s JPY200bn project to expand power supply in Indonesia. This financing is the first deal to be extended on a basis of Umbrella Note of Mutual Understanding, which was executed between JBIC and Indonesian Government in September 2006 for the purpose of supporting various independent power producer projects in Indonesia.
