BNP Paribas Tokyo Branch ranks 7th in Euromoney Japan’s 2009 foreign exchange poll. Our bank gains 6 places compared to 2008 and climbs into the top ten.

  • Overall Ranking:  7th  13th place in 2008, 14th place in 2007
  • Overall Ranking:  6th votes by non-Financial corporations
  • Overall Ranking: 5th (shared) votes by Financial institutions

The Tokyo Branch has made significant steps in the market and has steadily raised its ranking over the past five years from 29th place in 2004. The ranking, based entirely on client votes, is a result of a well balanced business and diverse client base. It highlights the quality and strength of each of the F/X businesses covering Asset Management, Corporate Coverage, Regional Banks, and Financial Institutions. The overall ranking is backed up by a number of No.1 positions and top ten positions for both the Branch and individual rankings.
