Petersen Energia acquires YPF

BNP Paribas acted as a Joint Lead Arranger, alongside with 3 other banks, in Petersen Energía S.A’s USD 1.02 Billion Senior Secured Acquisition Financing Facility. This is the biggest operation ever realized in Argentina by BNP Paribas.

The transaction will be used to finance the acquisition of the initial 14.9% interest in YPF, an Argentine corporation owned by the Spanish oil company Repsol.
